Be Safe, Be Smart, Be Secure! Keep afloat—in and out of your boat! (San Pedro)—Saturday, July 24th, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, members of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Los Angeles/Long Beach harbor, will have information on the National Safe Boating campaign to promote the wearing of life jackets and safe boating practices here at Cabrillo Marina plaza. A variety of life jackets suitable for adults and children will be on display. Free vessel safety checks can be scheduled for local boaters. Safe boating practices, rules and regulations are important. Find out about local boating safely classes. Always file a float plan with family or friends before leaving the dock.
